I graduated from the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD), with a bachelor degree in psychology, mention in clinical psychology.
Master’s degree in clinical and health psychology from the European Atlantic University UNEATLANTICO, which is an academic institution of higher education located in the Scientific and Technological Park of Cantabria, in Santander City, Spain. Master’s Degree in Health Psychology double degree with the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana (UNINI Mexico).
I achieved an international Postgraduate Course in Updating procedures for clinical-psychological evaluation and diagnosis at the Habana University, Cuba. Diploma in Human Sexuality and Couple Therapy, by the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD). Training in counseling on sexually transmitted diseases (STD). Preconception, prenatal and immediate postpartum counseling in the context of Zika, hospital (USAID). Child development care. I have participated in multiple congresses, courses and workshops.
I currently work at the Ricardo Limardo Hospital, Puerto Plata, where I work as a clinical and health psychologist, in consultations, interconsultations in liaison psychology, programs of assistance and counseling to pregnant women, crisis intervention, grief, emotional and psychological support in complicated puerperium and neonatal, assistance programs for victims of domestic and gender violence.
I collaborate with the Kangaroo Mom Program, a comprehensive assistance program for premature and underweight children, where I have been trained in the psychological care of children in early childhood. In addition, I offer my services of private consultations in Puerto Plata, located at Antera Mota Street # 70, Plaza Milano, where you can contact me.
Previously I worked for 4 years for retired veterans of the United States Army USA VA Foreign Medical Services, where I provided my services as a clinical psychologist, evaluating, supporting and treating psychologically and emotionally this population.
